Overview:

Our data center in Basaksehir, located in the city of Turkey/İstanbul, provides domestic main internet access via Cogent and Turk Telekom is connected to Türk Telekom MPLS backbone from 2 different switchboards with 2 different ring connections to each of them from four points. All of our network equipment, which forms the main backbone, is positioned to work with end-to-end redundancy. In line with the demands of our customers, connection can be provided via 1Gbit copper or fiber, 10Gbit and 40Gbit fiber ports via dual routers with redundancy or over a single router.

Cooling

Our data center is cooled by Liebert Hiross precision-controlled air conditioning systems in N+1 structure with the equipment selected considering the climatic conditions of the geographical region we are in. The cabinet and server layout in our entire data center has been designed considering the hot air and cold air corridors, and the air flow is given from 60 cm raised floor. Against the possible earthquake risk, the raised floor has been specially strengthened.

99.95% Network Core Uptime Internet Providers: Türk Telekom, Turk.net. Internet exchanges: TR-IX. Domestic DDoS Protection: 360Gbps. Overseas DDoS Protection: 2000Gbps.

Power

The installed power in our data center, which is fed through our transformer, which is directly connected to the medium voltage power line, is 1.5MW. Our AKSA brand N+1 positioned generators, which are ready in the event of a mains power failure, meet the energy needs of our data center uninterruptedly at 4-hour intervals against long continuous interruptions. The EATON Powerware parallel UPS system used in our Data Center is paralleled as 2N+2, with double the need for redundancy and 2 times larger capacity. Our UPS system is equipped with a battery capacity to meet the electricity need of our data center for up to 30 minutes during possible power outages and generator transitions. While the used battery sets feed the UPS from 4 different sections, the best quality batteries in the market are used. Battery measurements are made monthly, and changes are made every 3 years.
